Our guest speaker at the is the director and chief photographer for Bradkay Photographix, Brad Delaney.

Brad is a full-time professional commercial photographer who has been on the Gold Coast for over 30 years.

He is a specialist studio headshot photographer and his passion is wave art and fine art. His studio is in Robina but he travels to all parts of Australia and internationally to shoot.

Brad believes that his job is to make you look like you can do your job and that everyone CAN become photogenic. He thinks being photogenic is a skill that can be taught and in this social media frenzy work space, it’s a skill that is worth learning.

His best clients are those who hate having their photo taken. He believes that people hate having their photo taken because they have never been taught how to do it.

His goal is to help his clients brand themselves to compete in this ever-changing, digital image saturated marketplace and stand out from the crowd.

“Online activity is not going to diminish anytime soon. Personal profiles for relationship marketing, personal branding and company websites are all major parts of the business landscape and a way to brand ourselves,” Brad said. “We are looking more and more to social mediums to define our businesses. The imagery that we use to display on these mediums will become a focal point for other businesses looking at us.”

Brad wants to become known for taking amazing headshots that will convey the exact message his clients want to convey. He wants business people to see his clients’ profile image and think ‘I want to do business with this person’.

Event host Media Queen Aldwyn Altuney will present a special segment on mass media marketing before introducing the guest speaker.

Aldwyn is a photojournalist with 37 years of experience in TV, radio, print and online media.

She hosts several shows on the Media Queen TV channel on YouTube and co-hosts the Techwebcast podcast, which has had over 1 million downloads in the past 8 years.

Born in Sydney and based on the Gold Coast since 2000, Aldwyn runs AA Xposé Media, which offers public relations packages and the worldwide Mass Media Mastery training program.

Passionate about raising awareness, appreciation and respect for animals, she founded the world’s first Animal Action Day in 2007.

She has since run 14 annual events, raising millions of dollars worth of free publicity for different animal charities each year.

She has featured in 11 inspiring compilation books, many of which are international best-sellers.

She founded the global Good News Day in 2018 and launched the world’s first Global Good News Challenge in June 2020. The monthly Facebook Live challenge aims to decrease depression and suicide rates and lift people’s spirits globally.
